  The band cites science fiction novels, indie dance pop, and Japanese glam among its influences - the end result is catchy pop-prog with literary lyrics and solid hooks.

• MA46 also has a fun and energetic live presence and DIY attitude -- the drummer hand-screenprints band t-shirts, and the bassist also serves as the band's producer. The band is currently playing West Coast venues in support of their debut EP Letters and Numbers as well as painstakingly refining their upcoming full-length one song at a time.
